The following questions are those that are the most commonly asked of us. If you have a question that you need answered and cannot find it here. Please feel free to contact us by email or by phone.

Do you have monthly or yearly contracts?

I have no contracts, this is a subscription model martial arts program.  Which means that once you sign up, (preferably at the beginning of the month) you will be automatically charged monthly, until you cancel your subscription.  It is as simple as that.  I do have a terms and conditions agreement which includes an insurance waiver, but as for sticking people with a fixed contract they can’t get out of, that’s unethical in my opinion.

What is included in the monthly subscription? Are there any other fees that I should know about?

It is an all inclusive subscription. You get a uniform or shirt upon signing up, you can attend 2 classes a week and if there are make up classes posted, you are able to attend those as well.  There are no promotion or belt fees.  Once a student passes a section, they simply move to the  next level.  There are no extra add ons or programs you have to worry about.

How long will it take a new student to get to black belt?

The curriculum is designed to move a student through 52 months of training. If there are no breaks, that is a little over 4 years.  Once a student reaches provisional black belt they are given the option to chose when they test for first degree black.  If the student feels 4 months of review training are not enough, they can continue training until they are ready to test.

I wan’t to only do private lessons, can I do that?

Absolutely.  All you need to do is go online and scheduled a paid private lesson.  You can pay for them one at a time through the scheduler, or you can buy multiple sessions though our proshop and receive a coupon you can use each time you schedule a private.

Do you have a discount for family members of current members?

Yes. We extend a 20% discount to immediate family members of our students, or if you are paying for multiple students together. Immediate family members include: parents, siblings and grandparents or legal guardians.
